(3rd to 12th June) – Your Last Chance To Make A Difference
The appeal has now been called-in, or “recovered”, as a result of WAIT’s petition to the Government.
This means that the Inspector hearing the appeal will no longer make the decision, but will write a report making a recommendation to allow or refuse the development. The actual decision will be made by the Secretary of State.
This means it is more important than ever, that as many people as possible attend the appeal hearing at Civic Centre. To show the strength of local opposition to the proposed turbines, and to support those residents speaking against them, it is vital we have an especially big turn-out at the "public" session on Thursday June 5th, between 2 and 5pm.
It may be possible to provide transport to the Civic Centre for those who cannot make their own way there. If you need this transport please call John Robinson on 01724 735349 as soon as possible.
