An e-petition by James Eyles on North Lincolnshire Council's website, is calling on North Lincolnshire Council to reconsider its decision and reinstate the youth workers, pending proper consideration to ways in which they can add value to a new youth service.
The consultation which was used to determine the future of the youth service in North Lincolnshire was mathematically flawed and consisted of misleading questions, with no options for the service to simply remain the way it was. We are calling on the council to reconsider its decision and to hold a proper, statistically sound consultation, whilst retaining the experienced youth workers at its disposal.
UPDATE - The closing date for the petition was Saturday 20th April 2013, and received a total of 2,090 signatures.
