The petition raised almost 2500 signatures and will be heard in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre (formerly Pittwood House) NEXT TUESDAY 16th JULY at 3pm. We weren’t notified as per procedure and found out via Twitter!
Will you come and give support inside and outside the Council Offices on Tuesday?
Will you also please lobby the Ward Councillors* who have previously expressed their support to retain De Lacy House. Their support on Tuesday could make all the difference to the outcome. They have a surgery THIS SATURDAY 13th JULY between 11am and 12.30pm at the Winterton Hub/Library on West St.
The plans of North Lincolnshire Council to build an Intermediate Care Facility (demolishing De Lacy) do NOT meet the needs of Winterton people as we have pointed out to them.
Let North Lincs Council build their new facility where they like, but NOT on the De Lacy House site.
We need 6 months to come up with a detailed feasibility study and business plan, and in view of the huge support we have in Winterton we will demand this on Tuesday.
Please be there Tuesday if you possibly can and bring lots of supporters with you!
Very many thanks for your support.
